Pre Installation Information

CONFIRMATION OF SITE

Before any equipment can be installed you MUST complete the included Site Ready Form (download here), this is to save time and additional costs incurred with any additional work that may need completed before installation can be completed.

DELIVERY
A member of our service department will contact you regarding the most suitable date for your delivery and installation.

SITE & FLOOR REQUIREMENTS
Our Sales & Service team will assist you with your equipment installation requirements regarding floor depths and sizes, if you are unsure please contact us for advice.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
A Suitable electrical isolator should be made available adjacent to where the equipment is to be fitted and within 5 meters of the final position. We will carry out temporary connection but this must be permanently connected by the customers electrician.During initial contact we will go through the electrical requirements for the equipment you are purchasing, if you are unsure and require additional information please contact us for advice.

EQUIPMENT STORAGE
When equipment is delivered the items should be off loaded, adjacent to final installation position

LOCATION OF EQUIPMENT
Please ensure that you have decided on the final equipment location and there is sufficient roof height and the floor is area is suitable (see Floor Specifications)

LOAD TESTING
All lifts should be load tested on completion of installation, this is to test the installation and the floor are suitable. This is a British Standard requirement BS7980-2003, if this is not completed you may find that your insurance is not valid.We will happily carry out a load test at time of installation if the customer supplies a suitably weighed vehicle to the capacity of the lift being installed

COMPLETION OF INSTALLATION
We will take every care to ensure we will install the equipment to your requirements as quickly as possible, this may require help and assistance with moving heavy parts for equipment. in some cases a fork lift may be required
